Survival Introduction – The Fundamentals

If you’re unlucky and you end up in a jungle or a desert, your body will be put under extremely hard conditions. Fatigue, stress, hunger and much more.

Most people today could not survive this kind of situation. But if you are reading this, you are not like most people. You understand that you have to prepare for what could happen. There are so many things that could go wrong. But how exactly, as a human, do you survive?

There are 4 things that will make the difference between life and death.

They are listed below from the most important to the least important in a survival situation.

1. Mental Strength – Your Will to Live

If you don’t want to survive, you will die obviously. That’s why your will to live is the first thing on this list. Without this foundation, all the knowledge you will get from Primal Survivor will simply be useless.

Never give up.

If you follow this simple rule when you’re out there, you will be able to get out of anything. The human body is capable of amazing things and you would be surprised to see what you can do when your life depends on it. If you’re ready to become a Primal Survivor and learn the basic survival skills, nothing will be able to stop you.

2. Knowledge – How to Survive

Being willing to live will take you far. But if you don’t know what to do to survive, it will all be pointless. You might end up eating toxic fruits or dying of cold because you could not make a fire. Having the knowledge will protect you from fear. But how to learn everything you need to know?

Well, humans were not born in cities. See how locals survive. How our ancestors survived. How survival experts survive. They are all willing to share their knowledge if you are ready to accept it.

There are lots of things you should know about. It’s a long road but each bit will bring you closer to becoming a Primal Survivor.

3. Physical Condition – Apply your Survival Knowledge in harsh conditions

Wanting to live and knowing how to may sound enough. Unfortunately, it’s not. If you are not capable of enduring the wild. Walking all day in the sun, being silent while tracking a prey, getting the hell out when something is trying to eat you. All those are examples of why you need to be healthy. And that means a good physical condition.

The good thing about getting in shape is that it’s not as hard as the multinational gyms want you to believe.

You simply have to follow 2 rules :

  • Exercise regularly in different ways
  • Eat the right kind of food

That’s it! By following those 2 rules, on which I have a lot more to say, anyone can get in the best shape of their life. Note that it won’t be easy. In our modern world, it can be quite hard to resist the temptation and find the time to exercise. 4. Gear – Make Survival a bit easier with the right tools

Finally, your gear is your second skin. All the tools that can make your life easier in a rough survival situation. I’m saying ‘easier’ because you can live with what Nature provides. It’s just much harder. That’s why having the right survival gear with you is a big plus that will nicely increase your chances of getting out alive.

Your gear is composed of kits. First, a minimalist kit with the essential items that you should always have with you. Then, a set of kits that should be easily accessible if you need to leave fast during a disaster (home, car, office). You should know what is in your kit and more important, how to use all the items.
